Researcher
I’m a PhD candidate in the Wild Immunology Lab at Menzies Institute for Medical Research, University of Tasmania. Based out of Nipaluna/Hobart (Lutruwita/Tasmania), we are currently working on developing generalised ecological field devices to remotely monitor native wildlife:
- A smart bait dispenser for oral bait vaccination of the Tasmanian devil (Sarcophilus harrisii) against the devil facial tumour disease
- A remote animal microchip scanner (RAMS) to distantly study native wild individuals in their natural habitat
Education
- PhD in Medical Engineering @ University of Tasmania [Ongoing]
- MSc in Biostatistics @ Manipal Academy of Higher Education [2022]
